Renowned as one of the most highly skilled players in world rugby, entertaining crowds in stadiums all over the world, Marcus Smith has established himself as a favourite amongst rugby fans and an inspirational figure for young players making their way in the game.

His career highlight so far would have to be his last-minute drop goal to give England victory over Ireland at Twickenham in the 2024 Six Nations Championship, denying Ireland back-to-back Grand Slam titles. Marcus Smith burst on the scene in 2017 for his club Harlequins, quickly becoming a regular in their starting 15 and by September 2020 had already scored 500 points in the Premiership - only England icon Jonny Wilkinson achieved the landmark at a younger age. The highlight at club level came in the Premiership Final at Twickenham in 2021 where Harlequins beat Exeter in a thriller 40-38.

Marcus Smith made his England debut against the USA in July 2021 and has since become a key member of the team. As England began their 2025 Six Nations Championship campaign he had scored 291 points in 42 appearances. Marcus Smith was also chosen to be part of the British & Irish Lions squad to tour South Africa.
